Request for Proposal for lease of 342B Sommerville Drive

Rottnest Island Authority is undertaking a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the lease of the premises at 342B Sommerville Drive, Rottnest Island.

The premises are located within the Heritage Place (no. 516) Thomson Bay Settlement, Wadjemup and listed on the Western Australian State Heritage Register.

The premises are leased until 30 April 2023 and are currently used by the adjoining restaurant for storage. The premises comprises an area of approximately 82 m2 and includes the following areas and facilities:

  • entrance; 
  • entrance lounge;
  • change room; 
  • toilet; 
  • shower; 
  • two treatment rooms; and 
  • rear enclosed yard.

The premises are situated in the Main Settlement mall area, a prime and central location on the Island. This is an exciting opportunity for an operator to provide an offering which is complementary to the Island, will enhance the visitor experience and deliver a unique tourism offering.

The RFP is available on and will close at 2:30pm AWST on 1 November 2022.
