Victoria’s Secret model Bridget Malcolm is having a Christmas wedding party in Australia
Welcome home.Forget the -3 degrees in icy Paris, Perth-born model Bridget Malcolm will head back to her home of Rottnest Island for a Christmas cookout after walking in the 2016 Victoria’s Secret show.
The newly minted Mrs. Hoho (and no, that’s not just for the holidays) will take musician hubby Nathaniel to her homeland for a reception to follow her June wedding in the U.S.
“I’m so excited to go back to Australia. We’re going for Christmas and New Years, and we just got married so we’re having a little wedding party, a little extra celebration there,” she said, adding that it’s been almost a year since she’s seen southern hemisphere sunshine. The bride is planning a simple party in early January with close friends and family. “It’s like our way to go home. To be honest, it’s just a reason to be with my friends that have known me forever.”
While her surfing skills leave a lot to be desired – “I’m not particularly good, but I do try to do some surfing in my time” – she says she feels at her best with her feet in the sand. “It’s just being at the beach, in the water, in the sun,” she says about celebrating Australian Christmas.
Malcolm keeps it simple in skincare too, crediting her vegan diet and love of almost everything Dr. Hauschka, though she swears by Phyto-C active serum.
“It burns when you put it on, but it’s still great.” Beauty is pain.
